AmScope PZK Simple Polarizing Kit for Compound Microscopes, Graduated Round Stage, 1-1/8″ Lens

I purchased this accessory for a monocular student scope to learn about polarizing microscopy hands on. It works just fine. I made one modification. Instead of using the analyzer eye piece that came with the set, I cut out a circular piece of linear polarized plastic sheet and place it between the camera and reduction lens of a 3MP camera, such as the one AmScope sells. Within minutes I was getting great pictures of dense connective tissue (AmScope prepared slide). I also tried the analyzer eyepiece. It fit nicely over the 25x eyepiece on the scope. More fun with the camera, however.
