IWC Large Pilot's Watch Big Pilot Housing and iconic design The Reference IW500201 marks the birth of the modern Big Pilot legend and is known among collectors as the original „Big Pilot's Watch“ of modern times. With its impressive case diameter of 46 mm and the distinctive conical crown, it is reminiscent of the historic observation watches of the 1940s. The brushed stainless steel case features precise Chamfers which emphasize the instrumental character of this timepiece. The matt black dial impresses with its excellent legibility and the classic Baumuster A design. A special feature of this early reference is the power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock, which is perfectly coordinated with the central seconds and the Rehaut harmonizes. The domed lens with anti-reflective coating on both sides Sapphire crystal is specially secured against a sudden drop in pressure.
