Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Concept & History The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with reference 210.32.42.20.01.001 continues the history of professional diver's watches consistently. Launched in 1993, the line has been continuously developed in terms of robustness. Conceived as a professional instrument, this model meets the highest demands in maritime use. The present reference integrates modern manufacturing methods as well as essential design features such as the conical helium escape valve at 10 o'clock, which clearly defines the functional orientation of the model family. Caliber & Technology The drive is provided by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Omega 8800. This automatic caliber offers 55 hours Power reserve and is METAS-certified. A balance spring made of Silicon guaranteed magnetic resistance up to 15.000 Gauss. The movement features the Co-Axial escapement, which stabilizes the amplitude and minimizes friction. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the finishing of the rotor and bridges displays Omega's signature Geneva waves in arabesque form. Case & Material The case, made of stainless steel measures 42 mm in diameter and is water-resistant to 30 ATM. The unidirectional rotating bezel features a ceramic insert with a diving scale in white enamel for maximum scratch resistance. A screw-down crown and case back secure the interior of the case. The watch is complemented by an integrated strap made of black rubber, fitted with a pin buckle made of stainless steel. Aesthetics & Readability The black dial is also made of Ceramics and is characterized by a laser-engraved wave pattern. The skeletonized hands and raised indices are rhodium-plated and coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal legibility in low-light conditions. The date at 6 o'clock creates functional symmetry.
