As a low-stack style upper headset, the press-in cups and bearings are housed within the headtube allowing for an overall lower ride height with an external lower cup. The InsetTM 5 is designed to fit a 1 1/8″ to 1.5″ tapered steerer tubed fork and a 49mm internal diameter straight headtube on the bike. Supplied with an all-new bearing cap design, the GripLock™ is a multi-piece bearing cap that utilizes a precision controlled split ring that improves steerer tube interface.Aluminum cups in 8 available colors house our legendary bearings; all made in-house in our Portland, Oregon facility.
